Which short videos are taking off
in your industry and your town — and why

Shorttalk helps small local businesses, like neighbourhood restaurants and shops, see which Shorts are doing well in their own industry and region, understand why those videos took off, and then plan their own.

How it works

  1. Enter an industry and a region. For example: industry “쭈꾸미” (webfoot octopus), region “청주” (Cheongju), topic “맛집” (restaurants).
  2. See Shorts from the last 180 days whose views stand out for their channel’s size. Videos with many views relative to a small subscriber base rise to the top. Titles, channels and view counts are shown exactly as YouTube provides them; ratios and scores are reference figures calculated by Shorttalk, and every screen labels them “Calculated by Shorttalk · not a YouTube metric”.
  3. Read why they took off. Title style, length, posting day and time, and what viewers repeatedly ask in public comments (parking, price, location, …). Videos that rose on backlash are flagged “don’t copy this”.
  4. Plan your own video. Take away a suggested length, when to post, what to avoid, and answers to put in a pinned comment.

Data we use

Shorttalk uses YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3) to read public video metadata and statistics, channel subscriber counts and top public comments. It never downloads video files, does not use Google sign-in (OAuth), and never accesses users’ YouTube account data. Monthly keyword search volumes from the Naver Search Ad API are shown in a separate box with its own attribution.

By using Shorttalk you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Collected data is deleted within 30 days — see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
