1. The Service
Shorttalk (https://shot.on1.kr, the “Service”) finds YouTube Shorts that recently did well in the industry and region a user chooses, and offers a reference analysis of why they took off so the user can plan their own videos. The Service uses YouTube API Services.
2. Accounts
Accounts are issued by the operator; there is no public sign-up. Users must not share their account. Before using any feature, users must agree to the Privacy Policy and these Terms.
3. YouTube Terms of Service
By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). YouTube data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Figures calculated by Shorttalk
Figures labelled “Calculated by Shorttalk · not a YouTube metric” (views relative to subscribers, “N× the channel’s usual views”, scores) and the “why it took off” analysis are estimates and reference values calculated by Shorttalk from public data — they are not YouTube data. We do not guarantee their accuracy or any particular outcome (such as more views). Figures provided by YouTube are labelled separately as “YouTube figures” with the time they were retrieved.
5. Prohibited use
- Bulk scraping of the Service’s pages or data, or redistributing them to other services
- Using the Service to download or copy other people’s videos without permission (the Service does not provide video files)
- Circumventing access restrictions or probing the Service’s security
6. Data retention
Collected results are deleted within 30 days. Users can delete their own search history immediately under “My data”. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation, changes and suspension
The Service is provided as is; some features may stop because of changes, quota limits or outages of the YouTube or Naver APIs. We will announce changes to these Terms on this page at least 7 days before they take effect.
